This week more good news emerged for the Turkey property hotspots of the Mugla region; specifically those in proximity to Dalaman International airport. Budget Airline Jet2 have announced a new service between Glasgow and Turkey from April next year.
Dalaman is already one of the best served airports in terms of holiday flights from Britain to Turkey, and this is a massive strength to the local tourism and property markets.
In 2008, Dalaman was noted as the most popular destination for British travellers, by an Association of British Travel Agents. This was a major marker in the growth timeline for Dalaman tourism, and since then the tourist infrastructure and accessibility have developed massively.
Fethiye is just 20 mins from Dalaman airport and it too is a massive hit with tourists and property buyers.
Both towns have an excellent package of resorts, activities, shops restaurants and great climate and beaches, but also benefit from their proximity to Olu Deniz.
Olu Deniz, with its gorgeous blue lagoon is known as one of the most beautiful spots in the world, so much so that the government strictly protects its beauty, making it very difficult to buy property there.
Thus those who fall in love with Olu Deniz will look outwards to Fethiye and Dalaman, where they find plentiful quality properties are very reasonable prices.
