Turkey: Prime Minister opens new wind power plant in Mersin, southern Turkey

The Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan attended the opening ceremony of the 125 MW wind power plant in the Southern Turkish town of Mersin. The Prime Minister said the plant would serve 25,000 homes once it is completed and comes on full stream. The plant situated in the mountainous area of Mut already supplies 12,000 homes.

The 60 million USD plant, is being constructed the Agaoglu Group who are a major investor in energy projects in Turkey
