Turkey’s allure during the financial crisis
ISTANBUL – Interest in Turkey‘s property investment market is set to soar despite unfavorable economic conditions, one expert has suggested, according to Axia Fx, a London-based international business.
The country benefits from its location outside of the Eurozone, meaning that it has not been exposed to volatile exchange rates on the back of the world credit crisis. A spokeswoman for the property firm Atlas International, Giovanna Gentile, said a combination of being outside the Eurozone and guaranteed rental yields will see foreign investors flock to Turkey.
“Many buyers are looking for an alternative to the euro, so Turkey is taking its place as one of the most attractive markets,” she said.
