Turkey’s PM Erdogan vows full support for European investors
Investors from all over the world view Turkey with refreshed interest as the Turkish economy is back on its rapid growth track. Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with the members of the European Round Table of Industrialists (ERT) that provide employment for some 6.5 million people. Attending the meeting, the officials of globally renowned companies such as Volvo, Siemens, OVM, Astra Zeneca and Vodafone told that they are impressed by Turkey’s performance during the global economic crisis and that they are evaluating possible investments in the country. Erdogan, in return, promised full support for European companies willing to invest in Turkey, stating that European countries remain Turkey’s largest trade partner.
