Vodafone Turkey in cooperation with Turkeys Pegasus Airlines
Vodafone Turkey and Turkish air carrier Pegasus Airlines have implemented Cep Fly tariff, a special flight program with which the operators users can earn flight points when they make calls.
Through Cep Fly, prepaid and post paid Vodafone subscribers will earn flights points for each minute they make calls.
Today, transportation and communication are utterly important, Vodafone Turkey Chief Executive Officer Serpil Timuray said Monday at a press conference held at Istanbul-based Bilgi University to unveil the details of the tariff. One point is 1 lira. And 50 points equal 50 liras. There is no quota in flight points. With this initiative, we have tried to get together rapid communication and transportation.
Cep Fly subscribers will find a chance to make calls with advantageous prices and earn flight points with every domestic call or SMS that they send.
The flights points can either be used to reduce the ticket price or have a free flight. Everyone subscribing to Cep Fly tariff and participating in the campaign will be awarded with flights points worth 10 Turkish liras.
Pegasus Airlines Chairman Ali Sabanci said the firm has increased its passenger numbers from daily 3,000 to 18,000 in four years. The cooperation with Vodafone is not a campaign but a long-term collaboration.
Asked about Pegasus vision for the future, Sabanci said it would introduce new initiatives in Turkey and the Middle East. We are trying to expand our network toward the Middle East.
