Turkey’s university entrepreneurs to get help from Intel

8 December 2011, Ankara – In 2012, Intel, the worlds largest chip manufacturer, is launching a new initiative to help young Turkish university entrepreneurs. Intel is not new to the principle and has previously helped METU (Turkey’s Middle East Technical University) set up their new R&D labs through supplying equipment, Intel recognises the contribution that young university entrepreneurs in Turkey make to the future. Launching the programme Intel Turkey’s GM Mr Burak Aydin said “Intel Turkey is working to draw more investments to the country and collaborates with the universities to create world-changing technologies”. Commenting on the news, David Walker, MD of Spot Blue and Vice Chairman of TBCCI said “this shows the positive international commitment by leading technical companies to Turkey’s young entrepreneurs.”
