Turkish company given role in developing new generation Fiat vehicles

Istanbul, 10th April 2012 – Tofas, one of Turkey’s leading automotive companies will take up the role as Fiat’s research and development centre for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Tofas is a joint venture between Turkey’s leading Koc Holding’s company and Fiat, Italy’s largest automotive manufacturer. The company has invested over 900 million USD in R&D over the last six years and Tofas engineers have been appointed to work on the next generation of Fiat vehicles. The Tofas factory in Bursa produces vehicle for Fiat, Opel and Peugeot. Source: Invest in Turkey
