More good news for anyone who owns or plans to own property in Istanbul, especially if they come from Edinburgh as Turkish Airlines have launched a new route between the two great cities, flying 4 times weekly from the Istanbul Ataturk hub to Edinburgh international airport.
According to Anna Aero’s report containing details of the new flight, Turkish Airlines is uncontested on the route, which will be serviced by an A319 Airbus and started on July 16.
Just 2 days after the Edinburgh flight launched, Turkish Airlines launched another new route to the Osh airport in Krygistan. This may not be as good a news for those in Edinburgh but every new flight into Istanbul brings in more tourists, more shoppers, more restaurant goers and ultimately more demand for property to rent and buy, which is good news for owners in Istanbul.
It is crazy with all that is currently going on in Istanbul – Trump malls, new flights on a weekly basis, leading hotel chains tripping over themselves to expand in the city and more global corporations making it a regional hub than you can shake a stick at – that oroperty in the city is still some of the cheapest in Europe. One continues to wonder how long this can last, and hopes that anyone ticking the considering it box above makes their decision sooner rather than later – for their own sake.
