Direct flights – to Turkey are frequent from the UK and Europe during the main summer season from April to October. There are sporadic direct flights in December, however, if you wanted to visit a resort outside of the season you may have to fly in to anyone of the airports in Istanbul and catch a connecting flight to your resort from there. These flights usually run daily and are inexpensive. If you book your flight in advance (as soon as the flights are advertised) you can get them at reasonable prices. If you own your own home in Turkey you can book your flight only, direct yourself.
Transfers – in Turkey, you can book your transfer from the airport to your chosen destination before you leave home in most cases. You have a choice of a shuttle transfer (maybe a small coach of 16 or less) which is inexpensive, but may take a little longer to reach your destination as you have to drop others off. You can book a private transfer which will just be your party of however many people. You can hire a pre-booked car or people carrier and drive yourself or you can grab a taxi, of which there are always plenty, outside arrivals.
Search online for flight companies there are plenty of them, plus look for the best special offers and don’t forget airport parking!
