San Pedro de Alcantara is located 10 minutes west of Marbella, is an affluent Spanish town. Despite its expanding popularity, it has maintained its small-town charm and provides good services.
The recently finished Boulevard de San Pedro is the town's main point. The Boulevard has quickly become the place to go for San Pedro inhabitants and visitors, with a long and broad walkway, footbridges, bike paths, an amphitheatre, fountains, numerous play spaces, three bars/restaurants, and many events and street markets.
A pedestrianised route runs north to the church plaza from the Boulevard, which houses a spectacular local church. There are scores of cafes along the Boulevard and well-known and trendy pubs such as La Sala and other Spanish tapas joints.
