What is Altinkum, Aydin like?
The award-winning golden sand beaches at Altinkum are well-known. The resort offers something for everyone, including sunshine, a gorgeous sea, a marina, a yacht club, and numerous beaches. There are many taverns and restaurants to suit all preferences; nevertheless, go a few streets back and enjoy some of Turkey's regional specialities. Altinkum is home to a large number of Turkish ex-pats. Everything is more traditional in the old town, which makes it a nice contrast to the more tourist shops along the seafront. It's a fun street to wander down and investigate, with everything from clothes to handbags to shoes, as well as key cutting, tiny traditional butchers, patisseries, and local bread businesses. The mosque, which stands over the old plaza, is the main point of this street; you may sit here in the evenings and dine while watching and listening to the mosque. If you travel somewhat north of the resort, you may explore Apollo's old Temple, which is steeped in history. There are many art shops and some excellent small eateries in this town, and the roads and street lighting are in keeping with tradition. Continue to Mavisehir, a little village with a beautiful night market open during the season where you can walk around and check out the great local fresh produce before taking a waterfront stroll along the Aegean Sea and perhaps stopping for an evening drink. The nearby water park is a must-see during the hot summer months and a terrific destination for your kids to spend the day.
Where is the villa in Altinkum, Aydin?
The villa is in a superb location that makes it simple to walk around and take the local Dolmus to travel further afield. You can spend the day at the upscale beach or yacht clubs while being pampered, and you don't even need to own a boat to enjoy this treatment. The new marina has designer shops, coffee shops, and restaurants.
If you enjoy history, take the Dolmus to the Temple of Apollo's ancient ruins and explore the pedestrian area. Here, you will find carpet manufacturers, art galleries, and numerous craft stores.
