What is the area like?
Yalikavak is now becoming one of the most cosmopolitan marina towns on the peninsula whilst still retaining its charm and culture. Yalikavak has a small, but busy centre and a harbour where fishing boats moor and is one of the most sought after locations around the peninsula; it is one of the most upmarket resorts along the Bodrum Peninsula.
The wide selection of bars, cafes and restaurants in the town centre and on the seafront attracts many locals and tourists. The ancient city of Yalikavak was located inland on one of the hills which are called Sandima and today the remains and the restorations are worth seeing.
