What is the area like?
You may know the Isle of Wight for its stunning beaches and sunny climate, but this holiday park is also perfectly situated for access to the island's many attractions. With a vibrant tourism industry, the island supports a whole host of fun activities and destinations, from Carisbrooke Castle to the Isle of Wight Zoo, the Garlic Farm and the world famous Needles Landmark attraction. All these places are less than 35 minutes from this holiday park.
The Needles is open from 10am to 4pm daily, with longer hours in summer. If you’re visiting the Isle of Wight, chances are you’ve seen pictures of the white cliffs and jagged peaks of The Needles and the bright red Trinity Lighthouse at their westernmost tip. The Needles Landmark Attraction is probably the best viewpoint on land to view it from, with an impressive chairlift descending the cliff to the beach at Alum Bay. There’s free parking at the top, and you can pay on the day or book tickets in advance for the chairlift.
Robin Hill offers an adventure park that has loads of fun-filled activities on offer for the whole family. There are four amazing rides to try, several adventure playgrounds to explore and falconry displays to watch. There's something here for people of all ages – you may even get to see some red squirrels if you’re lucky!
Garlic Farm is open 9am to 5pm daily; this traditional Isle of Wight attraction caters to young and old alike, with food tasting, walks and a play area for the kids. The farm even has tractor tours in the summer holidays and an education centre, with garlic bread-making workshops. Seasonal events include a Christmas market, art exhibitions and a pop-up opera in the summer.
