Nokta Mavi Uluslararası Mülkiyet Ltd., a leading UK-based Türkiye property specialist, is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this month and with it announcing increased efforts to target investors from the growing international market, as well as the more established European countries.
Founded in August 2003 by chairman David Walker, who spotted the appeal of Türkiye as an alternative Tatil evi destination to the more established European resorts, Spot Blue’s status has grown significantly during its decade of operation. Adapting to changing market conditions, Spot Blue considers investors from outside the Eurozone, in particular the Middle East, as an important part of its own growth and that of Türkiye over the next 10 yıl.
Director Julian Walker, son of David Walker has helped grow the firm since 2006, yorumunu yaptı: “It’s no secret that market conditions have yo-yoed considerably since 2003, but our solid foundations based on thorough due diligence and customer service have held us in good stead and we believe will continue to do so for years to come.
“Our business was built on Turkey’s offering as a holiday home destination but today things have moved on. Turkey’s property market has another exciting edge to it, brought about by better opportunities for more international investors, combined with İstanbul’s booming residential buy-to-let market, and the country’s bullish economy and plans for infrastructure upgrades. We want to play a part in all of that.”
To support its strategy for more international exposure and as part of its ongoing brand development, Spot Blue has changed its name to Spot Blue International Property from Spot Blue Overseas Property and upgraded its principal website domain to spotblue.com from spotblue.co.uk.
Spot Blue is well placed for future growth and since its foundation has been accepted as a Member of key industry associations, Dernek International Property Uzmanları dahil (aiff), Türk Ticaret ve Sanayi Odası İngiliz (TBCCI), Emlakçılar Ulusal Birliği (FOPDAC birleşmeyle) (NAEA), British Chamber of Commerce in Turkey (BCCT) and Turkey’s Association of Emlak Investment Companies (GYODER).
Ek olarak, David Walker is Vice Chairman and Director of the Turkish British Chamber of Commerce & Sanayi (TBCCI), a position that has earned him endorsements from the Director of UK Trade and Industry for Turkey and the UK’s HM Consul-General in İstanbul. He was runner up to Jim O’Neill, (Chairman of Goldman Sachs Asset Management and brainchild of the acronym BRIC - Brezilya, Rusya, Hindistan, Çin) in the most “Supportive British” category of the "Most Successful Turk Awards" held in London in 2012.
Spot Blue was highly commended in the Real Estate Agency Website (Türkiye) category of the International özellik Awards in 2012.
