Turkey’s new high speed train network to boost economy

İstanbul, 26 Kasım 2012 - Tarafından 2023 Türkiye is expected to have 10,000 kilometres of high speed track out of the ülke’s total of 25,000 kilometre. Son zamanlarda Konuşma Binali Yildirim, Türkiye’s Minister of Transport and Communication, said “The high-speed train lines that will connect four major cities Ankara için İstanbul, Ankara to İzmir and Ankara to Bursa will carry more than 30 milyon yolcu yılda, while their contribution to the economy will exceed Amerikan Doları 800 million annually”. Referring to the İstanbul to Ankara line Yildirim said “We will open this proje, which will decrease the travel time between the two cities to three hours, simultaneously with Marmaray on September 30, 2013".
