What is the area like?

On the fringes of Fethiye is Calis, a lively town with a laid back atmosphere. Calis means ‘work’ in Turkish and the town has not always been a holiday destination as it used to be a working place where a small railway ran across the beach to the jetty which was loaded with Chromium, mined from inland. Those days are well in the past and the only work done nowadays is people laze on the beach!

Where is the villa?

This property sits in a great location just next to the beautiful Fethiye promenade with its many cafes and restaurants overlooking the bay and next to what will become the largest park area in the town.

Fethiye is a stunning town open all year round and always busy. The villa is located in an area that is well sought after, as it is close not only to the Fethiye main town but the resort of Calis is only five minutes drive and soon there will be full access to walk from the promenade to Calis beach.

Finally, approximately one minute away from this villa you will also find a small Marina for the small boats of Fethiye, should you wish to have a boat of your own or to just sit and enjoy a meal overlooking this stunning view.

What is the villa like?

The villa is semi detached and has a shared pool with just one neighbour. The neighbour is a Doctor from Fethiye who spends most of the time at work, so the pool is used mostly by the owners of this villa.

The gardens and pool area have been created to a very high standard with a decking area surrounding the pool. The gardens are private with large mature plants and trees, making a beautiful environment.

There is a private gated entrance to this villa and a driveway for off street parking, plus a back area which has been created to be a very private shaded area if you wish to cool down during the hot summer months.

The property faces south, so you can enjoy the sunshine all day and the sunset is beautiful from the roof terrace of this villa.

The villa is a triplex set over 3 floors, there is a lovely lounge area with a fitted kitchen and toilet downstairs on ground level.

There is a lovely staircase that leads to the sleeping quarters on the next two floors. There are two double bedrooms. The master is en-suite with a shower cubicle.

The balcony of this room is excellent with a sea view. There is also a family bathroom with ceramic floor to ceiling, vanity unit and bath with shower screen.

The other double bedroom to the back of this home is bright and has a good balcony as well. Both of these rooms are larger than the normal sized rooms in the area found in other villas.

The top floor has a large walk around cupboard space, plus the double bedroom. This area can easily have another en-suite added to it, should you wish to create this.
