What is the area like?
Kalkan has a typical Mediterranean portrait with traditional seaside houses, covered with wooden shutters and pink bougainvillea tumbling down white washed walls.
Coastal restaurants promote the concept of Mediterranean dining and due to the hillside leading away from the beach; most restaurants provide a romantic, rooftop-dining experience of slow music, and tasty cuisine while the sun slowly sets on the horizon.

Where is the villa?
Patara village also known as Gelemis village it’s a quiet and friendly residential area of Kalkan. You can walk to the beach in just 15 minutes and you can reach the village centre in just 5 minutes.
There are a few small shops, a post office, a couple of barbers and a handful of restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy simple, but delicious meals.
Patara village is a small traditionally Turkish village set next to a 12km beach and 2500 year old archaeological ruins. Patara beach is highly protected as Loggerhead Turtles use it as a nesting site. Therefore, there are no buildings on the beach apart from a palm tree beach cafe.
