Erdoğan Bayraktar (born 1949, ], Turkey) is the current Minister of Environment and Urban Planning of Turkey and a MP for Trabzon of the ruling Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi. He is married with 5 children. He was the president of TOKİ before being elected as MP. His appointment to the ministry was declared by PM Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on July 6, 2011 with the other members of the new cabinet. He gained his Bachelor’s degree from Istanbul State Engineering and Architectural Academy.
